Vicki Worden is an experienced leader and public speaker. She has 20 years of experience in planning and business development and has consulted for Washington, DC and West Coast based corporations and non-profit organizations. As strategic counsel for CEOs and staff, she has helped to further develop and launch extensive products, services, and green labels, winning national attention for those organizations. As VP of Commercial Programs for the Green Building Initiative, Vicki launched the Green Globes environmental rating system in the United States. It is now on track to become the first American National Standard for commercial green buildings and is recognized in public law throughout the U.S., by several federal agencies, and in financial products. As a former EVP of the National Lumber & Building Material Dealers Assn., a Washington, DC, based trade association, Vicki earned recognition while representing 8,000 members before Congress, federal agencies, and the residential construction industry. Her work in environment and health and safety issues earned the association numerous awards for highly impactful training and communications. She holds an MBA from Loyola University in Maryland and a BA in political science and international relations from West Chester University. She earned the Certified Association Executive distinction from ASAE, is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute of Organizational Management, and earned the Accreditation in Public Relations designation from the Public Relations Society of America.
Sara Rademacher is an environmental analyst and logistics professional with more than 15 years of experience in political, corporate, and non-profit sectors. As a legislative analyst for Washington, DC-based firms, she gained significant experience in congressional affairs while developing and reviewing environment, energy, and natural resources legislation. Sara supports WA, Inc. clients with the management of technical environmental standards as well as with communication and coordination with the public and national stakeholders. Sara’s quick grasp complex issues, attention to detail, and orientation toward customer service make her a sought after account manager. Sara also brings experience from employment with the federal Dept. of Commerce, national health care associations, and major banking institutions. She holds a BA in economics from St. Michaels College in Vermont and earned a certificate in business administration from the University of Maine. She has also studied Chinese at Yale University; Chinese literature, history, and language at Harbin Institute of Technology in China; and French at College Saint Augustin in Enghien, Belgium.
Jabeen Quadir is a sought after consultant in sustainability issues, including green commercial and residential rating systems, life cycle assessment, and standards development. She has a diverse background in strategic and technical project management, quality management, consensus standards development, and marketing and sales. She is a licensed Chemical Engineer with 22+ years of experience in engineering and management. Her diverse experience includes overseeing construction standards development programs with the Canadian Standards Association and facilitating development of standards for building products, materials and systems, sustainable buildings, and water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure. As Senior Environmental Associate, Jabeen helps clients evaluate products, standards, certification programs, and technical options to help achieve organization-wide sustainability goals.
Angie Helton is a specialist in multi-media public relations. She is founder of Northeast Media Associates where she has won national media attention for JobsInTheUS.com, Downeast Energy & Building Supply, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Olympia Development, Casella Waste Systems and Farmers’ Almanac.
Before founding Northeast Media Associates, Angie was the chief operating officer of 480 Digital, the video and film production company based in Portland. As the creative leader for the 480 Digital team, she earned a national Telly Award, and was nominated for two New England regional Emmy’s. One of the projects nominated for an Emmy was a documentary history of Portland, Maine, “Portland Past”, narrated by Charles Osgood of CBS Sunday Morning.
Prior to her work with 480 Digital, she was a television news producer for more than 11 years, and produced investigative segments in New Jersey, New York and Boston, for which she was nominated for 6 regional Emmy Awards with two wins to her credit. She is a team player ready to help Worden Associates, Inc. clients get their messages and stories placed using her vast experience on both sides of the media industry.
Tony assists clients with the development of public affairs and issue management strategies. He has represented clients before state assemblies and state and federal courts. From 1986 to 2001, Tony was the lead counsel for energy and technology issues in the Connecticut Senate Majority Offices. This included extensive involvement in legislative and regulatory matters, including the deregulation of the energy generation industry. He has also served as a Director of Conservation and Load Management Services for Northeast Utilities, which included programs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. He was consistently involved in all planned development, execution, and efficiency monitoring of all programs. Tony was personally involved in a large scale transmission siting program in the Northeast and has extensive knowledge of large scale utility issues in the Northeast.
Kevin Stover is an excellent facilitator and technical writer applying his engineering experience to help clients reach optimal results and solutions in their technical marketing endeavors. He is a professional engineer with extensive experience in sustainability issues related to buildings, building materials and related products. Formerly a federal engineer with the Indian Health Service, he worked closely with Native American tribes and communities in New Mexico, Arizona and Washington in the planning, design, construction, and operations of health care, water and wastewater facilities for Indian communities. For the last four years, Kevin has consulted on the design and development of numerous buildings across the country, and assisted product manufacturers with understanding sustainability issues related to life cycle assessment, green building rating systems, and carbon measurement and reporting. Kevin earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Washington. He holds professional registration in two states.
